NTB Governor and BPKP collaborate to supervise the use of Covid-19 funds

Mataram – NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah signed a collaboration with the NTB’s Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) in the context of overseeing the use of funds for Covid-19 in NTB.

The collaboration is carried out as a step by the Government to closely monitor the use of the budget for Covid-19 in the NTB region so that the use of funds can be effective and efficient by applicable laws and regulations. This collaboration is also an anticipatory step for the Provincial Government to reduce the risk of misuse of the budget.

Submission of the memorandum of cooperation was carried out in the Main Meeting Room of NTB Province Regional Secretariat on Thursday (5/14). The activity was also part of the inauguration of the new BPKP NTB Representative, Dessy Adin. The NTB Governor appoints the new BPKP Head in his capacity as an extension of the central government in the region (NTB).

The inauguration was based on the Decree of the Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency Number KEP-166 / K / SU / 2020 concerning the Appointment and Transfer of Primary High Leadership Officials within the BPKP Environment.

The new BPKP head was previously the Coordinator of the Supervision of the Auditor Functional Position Group for the Supervision of Central Government Agencies at the West Sumatra Province BPKP Representative in Padang.

“Congratulations on his inauguration, hopefully being able to carry out the tasks and the new mandate as well as possible,” the Governor ordered.

Governor Zul is also optimistic that the new BPKP Chief Representative can improve BPKP’s performance better, especially during the Covid-19 epidemic.

“We are optimistic that BPKP’s performance will be better, for the welfare of the people of NTB,” concluded the Governor.

The activity ended with the submission of the audit report on BPKP Semester II year 2019 by the new Head of BPKP NTB to the Governor of NTB. Also watching the opportunity online, the Head of BPKP RI, Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, and the old BPKP Acting Officer Agus Puruhita Arga Purnomo Widodo.
