GETNEWS.ID, Mataram – The NTB Provincial Communication Forum (Forkopimda) with the Korem 162 / WB Commander Colonel Czi Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, S. Sos. SH. M.Han., And NTB Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Drs. Nana Sudjana, MM., NTB Regional Secretary H. Lalu Gita Ariadi, M.Sc., Mataram naval commander, NTB transportation agency and Head of the NTB regional state intelligence agency conduct patrols around Mataram City and monitor several churches used in Christmas and Year celebrations 2020, Tuesday (12/24).
The NTB Regional Police Chief said that we, from the security apparatus along with Forkopimda NTB, guaranteed the safety and comfort of Christians who would carry out Christmas celebrations in 2019 and the New Year 2020.
“We are a joint or integrated apparatus from the military, police, regional government and the community mobilizing as many as 2500 people,” explained Nana Sudjana.
Based on the latest monitoring, he continued, conditions are still in a safe and conducive condition, and we will strive to continue to anticipate until the new year 2020.
While Danrem 162 / WB conveyed according to instructions from the Upper Command, it would fully assist the implementation of the candle operation held by the NTB Regional Police by preparing 1500 personnel, but 500 people were ready for personal on call and the rest was stand by in their respective units.
“If there is a contingency, we can move personnel as needed,” said Danrem.
According to him, in the implementation of security, his side collaborated with the NTB Regional Police and related staff to anticipate actions that could disturb and endanger, but so far there has been no indication of this.
Whereas the NTB Regional Secretary hopes that the Christmas and New Year celebrations will truly be in a safe condition, and the security activities will be carried out as a collaboration between the TNI, Polri and the Regional Government so that the NTB Province remains safe and conducive.
